Which Yuletide Ticket Should I Buy? 2026 Tickets and Prices Explained

For most visitors 10 and older, the right ticket is Adult Admission at $35 for the day you plan to attend; add the St. Nicholas Day Feast ($110 combined) if you want a seated five-course dinner or lunch, and add parking separately.

The short answer: which ticket fits you

Yuletide Medieval Festival tickets are sold per day for December 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2026, on the festival’s Events page. You pick the day first, then the ticket types for everyone in your party, then any parking add-on.

If you just want to walk the grounds, watch the jousting and the battle pageant, browse the marketplace and eat from the food vendors, Adult Admission is the ticket. If you also want a reserved seat at the five-course St. Nicholas Day Feast, General Admission with the Feast covers both in one ticket.

  • Visiting for the day, age 10 or older: Adult Admission, $35
  • Active or veteran military, or age 65 and older: Military or 65+ Admission, $30
  • Day at the festival plus a seat at the feast: General Admission with the Feast, $110
  • Feast seat for a child under 10: Kids Feast, $65
  • Driving in: add General Shuttle & Parking ($10) or Fairgrounds Premium Parking ($35, limited)

Every 2026 ticket type, in plain terms

Here is what each ticket on the Events page means, based only on what the festival publishes.

Adult Admission ($35) is festival entry for one person aged 10 or older on the day you choose. It is the same price on all four festival days.

Military or 65+ Admission ($30) is the same day of festival entry at a $5 discount. The festival does not publish what proof is checked at the gate, so it is worth calling ahead if you are unsure.

General Admission with the Feast ($110) bundles festival entry with a seat at the St. Nicholas Day Feast. The feast is served Saturdays at 6 pm and Sundays at noon, and seats are limited to 100 per day.

St. Nicholas Feast ($85) is listed as a feast ticket. The festival does not spell out whether it includes festival admission on its own, so if you are combining tickets in an unusual way, call (858) 864-0020 before you buy.

Kids Feast ($65) is the feast seat for a child under 10. Kids Feast seats are limited to 20 per day.

General Shuttle & Parking ($10) means parking off-site and riding a shuttle to the festival. Fairgrounds Premium Parking ($35) is a limited parking option. Neither is admission; each person still needs an entry ticket.

Children under 10

Adult Admission starts at age 10, and the festival does not publish an admission price or policy for children under 10. Before you buy for a family, call (858) 864-0020 or email info@yuletidemedievalfestival.com and ask what younger children need to enter.

If you want your younger child at the feast, the Kids Feast ticket ($65) is the published option. Keep in mind that children are not supervised by the festival, so a grown-up from your party stays with them throughout the day.

Example parties and what they would pay

These examples use the published 2026 prices. Parking is shown separately because the festival does not publish whether one parking ticket covers a vehicle or a person; check at checkout or call.

  • A couple, day visit: 2 Adult Admission tickets, $70, plus parking.
  • A couple who want the feast: 2 General Admission with the Feast tickets, $220, plus parking. On a Saturday, the 6 pm feast lets you spend the afternoon on the grounds and finish with dinner after dark.
  • A family of four with a 12-year-old and a 7-year-old: 3 Adult Admission tickets (two parents and the 12-year-old), $105. For the 7-year-old, call (858) 864-0020 for under-10 admission. If the whole family wants the feast, the three older members would book General Admission with the Feast instead ($330) and the younger child a Kids Feast ($65), for $395 plus under-10 admission if any applies.
  • A group of six friends with the feast: 6 General Admission with the Feast tickets, $660, plus parking. Buy early, because feast seats are capped at 100 per day.
  • Two grandparents aged 65+ and one adult grandchild: 2 Military or 65+ tickets plus 1 Adult Admission, $95.

How buying and entry work

You buy online for the day you plan to attend, and your confirmation arrives by email. You show that confirmation at the gate.

There is no cell coverage at El Monte County Park, so do not count on opening your email at the entrance. Print the confirmation or take a screenshot before you leave home.

The festival runs rain or shine. The festival does not publish refund, ticket change or transfer policies, so if your plans might shift, call (858) 864-0020 or email info@yuletidemedievalfestival.com before you buy.

Before you check out

  • Choose your day: Saturdays run 10 am to 8 pm, Sundays 10 am to 6 pm.
  • Count everyone 10 and older for admission; call about anyone under 10.
  • Decide on the feast now, since seats are limited.
  • Add parking: the $10 shuttle option or the $35 limited premium option.
  • Bring cash for vendors; there are ATMs on site.
